I live in an apartment in California (LA county). Due to many apartment code violations we received a 30 notice to leave. We moved into the apt. Dec 2004 and the city of LA asked for compliance back in June of 2003. So we moved in without any notice from our landlords of any violations, now we must move out due to them...

In accordance of LAMC 151.09.G.2 we should be receiving 3300.00 for relocation within 15 days of out notice. But thay have failed to pay on time.

What are the fines, if any, for not paying on time?

You need to report them, fines of course are for the city to impose.

Basicly though speaking frankly, if this is such a bad place, with so many violations, it is most likely that they either don't have the money to pay if they wanted to, or the more likely they have ignored the notices to fix anything and will ignore any notice to pay you. If you do see it, most lkely it will be months after alot of court action.
