Quit Claim to ex

In my divorce I was awarded 60% equity in our marital home. The house is not selling, and because I am on disability, this is causing my rent to be increased and I dont qualify for any help. I decided to quit claim my interest to him. It really was not a huge amount and he needs the equity to cover the debt of another home we owned already going into foreclosure. To get to my question. I do owe someone money and just found out I am being sued and they want to attach to my property(I no longer have an interest too)
I signed the quit claim deed on the 2/8/2008 and received lawsuit on 2/14/2008. Does the quit claim really get rid of my interest in the property or can this person lien the property if he wins?
Thanks, Linda
