| tenantand landlord security deposit and foreclosure hello-
recently we have moved out of a condo which was said to be going into foreclosure, while we were renting from someone living in north carolina. concerned about our security deposit we contacted the landlord, and he reassured that it would not be going into foreclosure and as long as normal wear and tear, we would get our security back in return. the place has been on the market as well for the last 6 months for sale, so he also reassured us that it had been sold and they would not be taking over the security deposit, he still would be in charge. we now had a letter stating charges which are outstanding and bogus to us, however, how do we pursue a lawsuit or who do we go after for our security deposit?
we are lost and just want the security deposit...
