Mitchell-Lama Sucession Rights

My sister moved out of her Mitchell Lama apartment and I have resided in the apartment for well over a year. Even though my name is not on the lease do I still have succession rights.

I am disabled due to an amputation of my left leg and I have mail and letters in my name that have been sent to this address. The key is that she has abandoned me and the apartment and now I am being evicted.

what can i do ?

please help

I could not find any succession rights at all. In fact if you were not added as a resident of the apartment, your right to live there may not have been valid before. While you may qualify they have a waiting list and you will need to apply for a place under thier rules. Since it is doubtful you had legal right to live there ( certainly if she did not notify them that you were there which would have changed the income for those living there.

here is the rules for the rentals under this program
