Lien Info Needed

If a lien has been placed on your home or other property will you be notified, or can a company place a lien on your home and never notify you? Or will you be notified by the courts if everything is done legally?

You very well might not be notified at all. The first time you may become aware of it is when you try to sell or refinance.
