How to undo a life estate

My brother has life estate over my father's property. Recently, my father disowned him and had him removed from his will. My father wants my name on the life estate. I am his power of attorney and executor. Can the life estate be undone by my brother signing a quit claim deed to me?

The brother will have to sign over the deed of the property, since there is issues , will he be willing to do this ?

Can you tell what the procedures are for my brother signing off the deed and my being added?

The way you phrase it makes me unsure that you are using these terms correctly. So let me ask you: Is the property your brother's until your brother dies? Then who will it belong to?
