    How to siblings share of inherited property
    My mother died with a will that left the house she lived in to me and my four siblings. They want to sell the house, but I do not. The house is in all five of our names. How do I buy them out so that they can have their financial interest in the house and I keep the house? Do I need to get a loan? That is the process for this. The house is located in Virginia. I just need to know where to start.

    First of all, does the house have a mortgage that you are all presently paying on ? If not, then you will have to have one in order to buy your siblings out. Start by having the property appraised by a realestate agent. Find out how much it is worth and go from there.
