If you want to have your name added to the deed then your husband has to prepare a deed from himself, as seller, to the two of you, as buyers. Then the deed has to be recorded in the county clerk or county register's office.
I strongly recommend that you have an attorney handle this for you. It should not be expensive and that way you will make sure that your intentions are carried out.
