my house pass inspection but brick mortar is missing from bricks

Hello Hope someone can help me. Most of you guys know when the woman gets tired of waiting she gets angry and tries to do herself. Or goes the other route and "complains" (hate gender terms that debase someone). Well I am at the former state and boy am I angry!:mad: We have approx 6' x 6'...

I filled the cracks between paving blocks with a mixture of dry sand and mortar mix. I need to clean overfill from blocks.

How can I remove mortar that the brick layers got on the top of our brick patio. It is not all over, but enough that it needs to be removed.

There are several bricks in my foundation where the mortar has turned to powder and washed away. Is a professional required to fix this, or is this a job I can tackle myself? Thank you.

Had brick work done. Could not be there at the time. The mortar used is darker than the rest of the mortar on the house, which is white Question is, how can I lighten the darker mortar. Thanks Bill
