| I have a problem with another tenant in my apartment building...
I have a huge problem with another tenant in my building. These people are absolutely insane! They have done nothing but cause us mental anguish and suffering. The eldest daughter of the woman who lives upstairs has harassed me and my children constantly. She leaves used condoms by my door, has vanadilized our door with spray paint and has even went as far as to have someone come by our apartment at various times of the day to kick our door and scream obscenities. I had tried talking to the girls mother and it was like talking to a brick wall. She did not seem to care about anything i had to say nor did she believe that her daughter was capable of doing such horrible things. The eldest daughter had even threatened my daughter with a weapon and I had to call the police. This girl has been arrested 3 times because I had to call the police on her. She has already been charged with harassment, menacing, criminal mischief, and violation of a court order. We have filed numerous complaints to the management office and have taken them copies of the signed complaints yet nothing has been done. We have also filed numerous complaints with the management office and still nothing has been done. We had to go as far as to obtaining a restraining order from this girl and her boyfriend who has also threatened our lives. I am living in constant fear and cannot afford to move and do not want to leave my home of 17 years. This case was scheduled to go to supreme court, however, she accepted a plea-bargain. I want these people removed from the premises and have done everything in my power. I am not sure of what else I can do. I have even brought in complaint letters from other tenants stating that these people are quite frightening and a nuisance. I have even sent the management office a certificate of disposition. I want these people to be evicted in order to ensure the safety of my family. What else can I do?
