Landlords usually want their money on time so don't know how a grace period would enter into it, unless it says that in your lease agreement.

My section 8 says that what ever the landlord writes in the rental agreement is what goes.
If you were to write it up as 5 days grace then $5.00 per day late charge that is what it is.
You can also go with N0 grace period.
To be fair you should (out of consideration, but not law) give them the day they get their check (if more than once a month the one closest to due date) as their due date. Then give a couple day grace period 'cause sh*t does happen.

    Hello bb:

You can find out for yourself. We have ALL the states landlord tenant laws here at the top of the real estate board on a sticky note.

I think you should become intimately familiar with it. After all, these ARE the rules that govern the landlord business. You SHOULD know the rules of your own business, don't you think?
