    Friend must move out of my home
    Im stuck asking my friend to move out. We live in California, and I'm aware there are special laws pertaining only to California... I have asked him politely to move but he won't. It is my home, and we have no written agreement for rent. What to do to get him to move out? Any help appreciated:(

    If he's just staying, and not paying you any money, tell him to pack his things and move out within the next 3 days or you will call the police and have him arrested for trespassing.

    He has been living with me for about 3 weeks now... before that he was in and out of my home... living in an independent living situation with others... how do I prove that? He now uses my address as his address to receive mail and state relief money...

    First, please make sure you log in before posting. If he has only been there a few weeks, then pack his bags and put them on the stoop and change the locks.
