Talk to the landlord, and see if they will work with you. Where in Florida do you live? Search eviction law for your county. I was evicted once, in Brevard county (because of my numbnitz husband) and the landlord had to go through this lengthy process to kick me out. it turned out it was quicker for him to just not re-new my lease, (and easier for me to find new digs in the meantime-- no eviction to report) and I left in semi-dignity.
