Eviction Law In Memphis, TN

........How do you evict a resident who has filed bankruptcy and has not paid rent in over 6 months and continously violate signed community rules and lease agreement? Utilities are allocated and has not been paid either.

You may wish to hire an attorney, the bankruptcy may stop you from collecting past rents, ( but maybe not the rent after the date he filed, the bankruptcy covers debts listed prior to date of filing.

But you file for an eviction in court. Since he is going to try and cheat and lie to you about the bankrupty issue, ( does not stop an eviction) I would use an attorney for it
