Eviction Law In Memphis, TN

I am currently living with my grandmother who has put her home on the market to be sold there was an offer and sopposely the house was sold I am now being told to leave the premises by next month and the there is no closing date given is this a illegal eviction.

Given an eviction, all complaints have been rectified within several days, including rent paid with late fee. I understand once the rent was accepted the eviction is off the table. Can the landlord lock the door preventing the tenant from getting in?
