Eviction in Florida
My friend made the huge mistake of letting a girlfriend move in. she was never asked to pay any rent. There has never been any kind of rental agreement. They have now ended the relationship. The ex-girl friend will not leave. Is there a 3 day eviction notice for this?

A 3-day notice is for non-payment of rent. Since she was never asked to pay any rent the 3-day notice would not apply.
Your friend needs to give her a 15 day notice that her tenancy is terminated and she has to vacate the property. The notice should be in writing. If she hasn't moved out after the 15 days is up then he can file a lawsuit for eviction. |
