Deeds

Asked Nov 22, 2006, 05:58 PM — 1 Answer
My warranty deed(for my home) has my name and my wife's name along with address of property, but does not tell us if it is by joint tenant, tenants in common, or tenacy by the entirety. What kind of ownership do we have?

With the little information given there is no way to tell.

In the wording it should have more information as to it, Next what type of deed is it, warranty, quick claim deed and so on.

Best bet, take it to a title company or real esate attorney for a determination.
