Buyers name on the DEED if I'm selling on Contract for deed
Do I have to put the buyers name on the DEED if I'm selling on Contract for deed.
I don't really want to being that the house is still financed. I 'm understanding that the deed will change when the property is paid off.

NO a contract for deed is just that, a contract and once they have fully paid it off, you sign the deed over to them.

If you sign the deed over to them, at that point you are holding the mortgage and they own the property.
