Adding name to house title with boyfriend
How does one go about adding their name (with permission from boyfriend) to the house title without refinancing?

You can't add your name to the deed and/or mortgage. To change from sole ownership to joint ownership is expensive.

You can ask him to write a will leaving the house to you if he dies.. :)

Please go back to the home page and click on the Real Estate Law forum. At the top of the forum is a sticky on how to add a name to a deed.

Contrary to the answer you received from Choux, it is not necessarily expensive.
