    30 day notice
    I were given a 30 day notice, but I were not behind in my rent at the time. In the past I were given permission to pay my rent late. The landlord on site state that I could pay my rent late as long as I paid it before the end od the month. I explain to my landlord that the reason that I had to pay my rent late were because of my work schedule. I worked 9 months out of the year as an educator. I would work 3 months on and 1 month to 1 1/2 month off. When I questioned the landlord about the 30 day notice, she stated that she were surprise to that I were given a 30 day notice, she state that she could not say anymore and that I had to call the cooperate office. At that time, I were told that they did not have to tell me anything. So, I did move within the 30 days that I were given, but I had to take my money for rent that month and to another place. Please help me with what legal right that I have.

    Hello Teach:

    You owe rent for the last month. If you didn't damage anything, they owe you your security deposit. That's all.
