witnesses, witness's-- How to use these correctly in a sentence.

First case means more than one, second case is showing that something belongs to the.

Witnesses........There are twelve witnesses on the jury.
Witness's.........Those seats are the witness's.(Showing that they belong to the group of witnesses.

"witnesses " is a plure of noun.

But " witness's " is a adjective noun.
