COULD SOME ONE PLEASE SEND A COPY OF THE PAGE THAT STATES DUTIES OF WELDING INSPECTOR. AND REQUIREMENTS OF A WRITTEN WELD PROCEDURE. AND QUALIFICATION OF A WRITTEN WELD PROCEDURE, THANKS.
To answer your question about weld requirements- you should have a referenced specification in your quote or contract.
When reviewing the requirements of this specification you will be able to develop the requirements for auditors to this specification
For example- if the penetration requirement is 10% material thickness, (as this is a destructive test in most cases) then you would want to check 30 pieces and get an idea on your capability. If the capability is good- then the checks could be once per shift- depending on your application. If the capability is bad- you would want to implment a BME check and take a look at your equipment to see what can be improved.
