My husband and I have decided to do the bond for deed option. When speaking to a realator, he told us that in addition to a down payment of 5% of the asking price, there would be a $7,000 closing cost. I have not read anything on closing costs for bond for deed until you actually are able to buy the house and go to closing. Is this realator correct in his statement or is he trying to get extra money for himself?
