How do learn to see auras better?

i want to learn to see auras better all i see is a light smoky thing around my hand but i cant see colors and i'm not that good at seeing them so can some one give me tips? please no religous stuff, no offense.

Seeing a complete aura is a gift; sorry no tips.

What do you see when you look at other people, or someone special in your life; do you see anything other then smoky.

We usually cant see our own auras clearly. Could be that is why you are confused.

I have always seen what I call auras surrounding people's heads. Some are close to their heads and others are further away. They are sort of shimmery/clear. Has anybody out there experienced this, or know what exactly I am seeing?
