Do I have a gift, or am I just plain crazy?

Okay, here it goes.

First off, I know how crazy it sounds but in my basement (where it happens most often) I feel something breathing on me. Normally I feel it on my neck. I see them all the time, no matter where I am. But like I said before, it happens the most in my basement. Um, it happens A LOT in my room too. I see people, that arent there.

One time my mom came in my room when I thought i was talking to her. I thought she was standing in the corner looking out the window but she asked me why I was talking to myself, and I looked around very confused and my mom asked me if I was okay and I just said "okay" cause how many of you say "HEY MOM!! I JUST TALKED TO A DARK FIGURE STARING OUT THE WINDOW! OKAY!!" not many...at least i think...

Also, I thought psychics could speak to spirits? I can't hear them. I can speak aloud and they can understand me, but I can't hear them reply to me? Am I going insane or do I really have a gift?

and im being so serious. .... i got rid of my 5 years of pure zits, my insecurity, my anger, my laziness and so many other things just because I know how to change the balance in my body and the blood flow and different things like that. You're body scientifically provenly reacts to what your subconscious mind is based on. All it takes for a lot of things is getting as close to your subconscious mind as you can to trick it and change it up a little to mold your life the way you want it. Like...just going into your alpha state of mind (the level in which you are in between your full awareness being your Delta state, and your dream state) you can say "I am soooooooo tired" and keep commenting on that and force a few yawns and vividly imagine yourself sleeping and try to relive the feeling you get before you fall asleep, and WOW believe it or not you will be sleeping in no time!! I did this for my insomnia because like with all my other problems....pills and medications never ever ever ever ever ever ever seemed to work. And by the way...if you dont know how to get to the Alpha state of mind...its really easy...just meditate and you are there. It seems all complicated ..but all it takes is....believing its going to happen so that negative energy cant distract you from shifting to your relaxed and open alpha state of mind, and just relax. A big part of having success with growing your gift of connecting with spirits takes faith. SERIOUSLY STOP DOUBTING!! lol... I know this all sounds irrelevant to your situation with the spirits.. and im sorry i kinda left the whole subject of your question in the fog...but I am seeing great spiritual potential and power in you and you can use this to see more spirits if you want, or even stop seeing them. Or you could be like me and pick and choose what type of spirit to guide you in different situations..and sometimes I can even call on a certain spirit like my grandmother or my friend's mother. I kind of talk to them like my diary when i have something to say. I am a veeeeeeery quiet person...meaning like i dont say much...but im not the least shy. I will respond with no fear lol and I am actually one of the most personally open people you will meet...but seeing i hold a lot of my feelings in...its very nice to spill out not only to paper in a diary, but someone who is listening!!!

I have a friend who has this same problem but its really not a problem. Its really not a gift tho either. hm well my input is that you have spirits that are physically linked, aurally linked and spiritually linked to you which means you have a high energy level, which is not a bad thing. I don't think your mom is going to put in an asylum but i also think you should wait as well and see if this develops into anything. Do you have a pendulum? If not go buy one they usually run about 15 dollars but I have found them for less and ask it questions that have a yes or no answer. Ask if your mom will put you in an asylum. Its a start. Also i think you should look things like this up. Go to a bookstore, Borders is one i recommend and go to the religion section and look for books on spirituality. Thats pretty interesting about your experiences. It does sound like you have a gift. If I were you I wouldn't tell your parents, or a psychologist. They will think your having hallucinations and most likely put you in a psych ward or have you start going to a psychiatrist or something of that sort. I do believe in things like this, I believe they can happen, but many people are not open to the idea of your being able to talk to spirits. I would keep it to yourself unless you have a close friend you can tell. In the mean time, I would look on the internet for true stories about this type of incidents and also look for online forums and communities about people with such gifts as yourself. This way you can talk to people that are similar to you, and your not so alienated. If your parents or anyone sees the website your visiting, just say its something that sparked your interest. I have an amazing forum site called indigosociety.com .... everyone in that net community is experienced in this sorts of things and I mean for years; I've only been into it for half a year. There are many mediums that connect with spirits and they could help you understand and control this gift. You have a strong energy like it was already said, and that's why they come to you. Seriously check it out though dude its a definite cool site with lots of logic.

-lol- no. It's probably hallucination. You probably were hydrated or something. Sometimes the human mind can play tricks. But your not crazy and I highly doubt you can talk to the paranormal.

No you are not crazy. From what I have read and watch from professionals on TV as you might there are spirits that are trying to crossover. There are other spirits/demons that can be harmful.

What I do because I cannot see any spirits. I can only sense them. I can give you many examples for the last 5 years. I cannot control this ability. What I do sometimes when I sense someone I never ask the question out loud. Asking out loud is not wrong. Try to listen inside a voice that might seem to be your own thoughts, but they are not. Because you know how you think. That is the spirit talking to you. That boo girl has some good thoughts to share. Is she psychic I have no idea.
I found this website a week ago on home repair work( honey-do[ which you will learn when you are older]).

Anyway when it happens, when a spirit is trying to pass information through me. I have., really really uncontrollable urge to cry. I am not sad. I think it is their energy going through. I even cried in front of a patient ( I am a nurse ) and she shared with me of having a visual experiences at bedtime of her belated grandmother talking to her at the foot of her bed. This parent also said that this gift runs on her mom side of the family.

I think you should assess who is in your house and try to open up yourself spiritually the way you would. I do not mean pray. How ever you connect with the world around you. Meditate if you like. That can be writing, painting, or whatever relaxes you into another state of calmness.

If your Parents who love you and trust you will try to support. If you do not sense that than wait for the right time. Especially you can share something with them that they as an individual would only know. I have done that, freaked the person out but made them realize that someone is aware of their daily living.

hi my daughter has the same problem as you so we took her for medium training, (yes there is such a thing!) she now is able to both talk too and hear the spirit world with no problem, when they come to her at night she tells them in a firm tone, leave me alone i dont want to speak now ( she also lies on top of her duvet that stops them pulling at the covers to get attention. Your not crazy just gifted)
She has had it hard to being called and witch, etc., and bullied and now she is perfectly fine with her gift at the age of 17.

I guess I cannot e-mail you. What state do you live in? I live in upstate New York and we do not have a yellow pages listing for mediums training others who are struggling with what they can do. How much did it cost per session or rate for a bunch of lessons?

Sorry I live in Ireland and it only cost 10 pounds an hour for 6 months now I feel I cant help you im on the other side of the world, we are more passionate about the spirit life, but if you want to ask anymore questions please do so.

Yes, I always wanted to visit your country. I only spent a few hours in Shannon airport to and from Jordon when in the service years ago. 10 pounds can be pricey. How many hours are envolved per session?
