did I mess up?

Did I mess up a good thing with a girl "friend" of mine who rejected me as a partner? Her response was shallow pretty much inplying my bank account wasn't up to par. Although I'm a great guy, who is attractive, with good morals and fun to be with. I said some hurtful things, I really like her, but now I think the friendship is lost.

thanks

Well you can do one of two things apologize and be friends with someone who may be snobby/shallow and doesn't think you are good enough IF she forgives you.
OR be glad you found out this side of her and just move on with your life.

She is shallow. A girl like that does not deserve a "great guy, who is attractive, with good morals and fun to be with."

What you may have said was out of anger maybe even out of spite and disappointment. I wouldn't worry much about losing that type of friendship, chances are if she had that attitude she wasn't that great of a friend.

Move on.

Sarah
