Canon MP600 says no paper when there is paper

I am trying tp print from Canon MP600 but get message "there is no paper. Load paper and press OK"

There is paper in feeder - any idea of what solution might be ?

You might want to make sure that the printer is trying to load paper from the source.

My Canon has several inputs depending on the size of paper being used. If there is paper in the tray, then remove the paper, fan the sheets and place it back in the tray.

Almost all printers have a high and low limit switch. You may want to remove some of the paper to see if it behaves.
