horrable pain in left side of body

horrable pain in left side of body

had a baby 1 week ago today and yesterday I started having horrable pains that start in my left hip bone and run down my left leg, it's so bad that I cant move until after the motrin kick in.
Is this normal?
I dont recall having this after my first two.
I know it's not after birth pains cause I have them two but they are going away.

buggage Pregnancy & New Motherhood Expert Join Date: Nov 2005 Posts: 1,506	I would suggest calling your doctor and asking them if it is normal. it might be normal(possibly just your muscles and joints re-adjusting. with each kid things get a bit more uncomfortable) , but It is always best to ask your doctor about it, as it could be something that needs looking into.
