| | | Where to go. I live in Huntsville, AL and I need to get a doctor's appointment ASAP to see if I am pregnant. Does anyone know where I can go? I have called Planned Parenthood and they do not have any services out here in Huntsville. I have also called like 15 doctor's offices to set up and appointment and no one can get me in until like two weeks from now. I need to go ASAP!!! Any help would be great. | | | | | | |

Thanks!! I found the first one but not the second one. I have bought the home pregnancy tests, more than one. I need to go get an ultrasound done that is why I need to get into the doctor's office. I tore all of the ligaments and tendons in my ankle two weeks ago and I have been taking the pain medicine that the doctor's gave me. So, I need to know if that is going to effect my baby. Thanks! |

| J_9 will be able to tell you better but ultra sounds aren't radiation and are done around the middle of your pregnancy. No matter what when you go you need to tell the dr you think you may be pregnant. |

Well, I went to the place off of Franklin and found out. I have a doctor's appointment on Tuesday to talk to the doctor about the medication I have been taking. Thanks for all of your help. And I didn't mean an ultrasound, I ment that machine that lets you hear the baby's heartbeat. Thanks again! |

| What medication have you been taking? I can look it up in my PDR. Also, if you are pregnant, how far along do you think you are? |

| I have been taking Lamictal for like a week and then I was taking Hydrocodine for about two weeks because I tore all of the ligaments and tendons in my ankle. I think that I am 8 weeks. |

| I also had gotten x-rays done when I messed up my ankle. I didn't know I was pregnant then. I had taken 3 HPT throughout the past few weeks and they were negative. Then on Wed. I took another one and it was positive and the office that I went to did another one and it was positive. So, I am not sure how far along I am. I don't remember when my last period was. I think it was at the beginning of July. |

| Lamictal? Do you have seizure disorder?
Hydrocodone?
Both are Pregnancy (C) categories, which means that there are "known" birth defects. However, sometimes the benefits of the medications outweigh the risks.
Both medications are commonly prescribed in pregnancy. |

| The x-rays were done on your ankle, did they cover your belly while doing the x-rays? |
