| | | What were your labor symptoms Well all I don't know if this means anything but hey I figured I would ask it here before my dr appt today. What kind of symptoms did you experience, or have heard of experienced, before labor?
The reason I ask is due to some sever symptoms that I am having. I just wanted to know if anyone else has had something similar happen or if i'm completely off my rocker...lol. It's four in the morning here and I figure I might get a few answers before I have to go to the dr. Ok so here's the list of symptoms i'm experiencing:
Nausia
Loss of appetite
Extreme fatigue
insomnia
Dizzy spells
Mood swings
Buzzing in my ears
Seeing spots
Contractions
Pelvic fullness, pain and pressure
Breast tenderness, more than normal.
Soft bowel movements
forgetfulness, more than normal
hearing impairment...ie..not hearing the person thats talking to you.
I think thats it for the moment... At least I can't remember anymore right now. Forgive my spelling mistakes I seem to have forgotten how to spell.
Anyway, was just curious if anyone else had experienced anything similar before they went into labor. I hope i'm not the only one....lol. Thanks in advance | | | | | | |

| well i think ur just plain stressed out.
sometimes when i got alot of homework or stuck on some big tourney or cricket or sport, i get extreme fatigue.
for example, ill usually sleep at 10-11pm, but id just nod off at 8:30, and wake up heaps late. sometimes in the middle of the night as well.
all these can be lnked to fatigue, seeing spots, mood swings, loss of appetite(opposite for me =P).
id recommend time to rest, cos ually ill sleep well on weekends, until like 1pm or something then feel back to normal and great. |

| with the exception that i'm pregnant with twins it sounds like you could be right. I however slept almost all day today and haddn't moved off the couch untill my guy got home from work around five. I then ate something and immediately regretted it. I will keep in mind the being stressed out though. I am ready to have these babies and that could be making the difference in how I feel physically too. Thanks for your reply. |

| Considering i'm 28 and have two children already I found it slightly entertaining myself. Although, it was slightly annoying too...Then again at this point in time I have found that almost everything is a bit annoying... No offence anyone. I actually didn't know the age or the sex of the poster, but I knew it was someone that was unfamiliar with the pangs of labor. I am certain now that it is way more than just stress at this point. lol. Stress however in a different term is definately what i'm feeling. Thanks Skell and chech... I did need a good chuckle... though now I have to breath through the contractions as i'm laughing... again no offence cheech...lol. |

| I think that the loss of appetite, nausea, and fatigue could very well be a sign that labor is imminent but for now I guess until consulting with your practitioner you'll just have to wait and see, good luck!!!!!!!!!! |
