I've not had personal experience with it but know of a few people who have had success using Vitex. Periods were either irregular or they had a short luteal phase... both of which have to do with hormone issues. Vitex is sometimes tried before Clomid or Provera (even though Provera is to try and help regulate cycles and Clomid is for helping with ovulation). It often takes a few months of using Vitex before noticing a change in your cycle. Best not to self-medicate... and even though Vitex is a herbal supplement it still should be treated as a medication since there are instances where someone may not want to take it. Gather some info on it and present it to your doctor... see what they have to say.
