vitamen trouble

Hi I am having vitamin trouble by taking them I can not swallow them and now I can not chow them because I get sick or feel like I am going to throw-up. my gag reflex got real bad since I am pragnant so if anyone have any ideas that I could use lit me know right away

Maybe you could try vitamins in liquid form, they absorb much more easily and hopefully will not make you gag.

You can get a thing at the pharmacy that you can cut them up with. Pre-natals are really big. You could also try crushing them and taking with applesauce.

They sell in almost all drug stores, pill grinders and/or spliters

But they also have many available in liquid form.

Also if you gargle with salt water it helps the gag reflex

You can also compare the amounts in your prenatal with some of the children's chewable vitamins...usually taste a bit nicer. Some will have almost the same amount in just one, while others you could take two if need be.
If you are able to eat a well balanced diet, you might not even need the vitamin, but it will give you the insurance of getting what you need if you know your diet could be better (which probably the case for most people!!)....
