Ttc and last cycle period was 2 days late

Trying to conceive and my last cycle I was 2 days late on my period. Normally its every 25th of the month, but last month (Feb) it came on the 27th. Now 27 days later (yesterday,March 24th) still no period. We have been having major unprotected sex and we want a little girl (his 1st kid, my 2nd). Could I be pregnant? I hope I am or is this just normal.

Two days late is not that late. It happens. With stress, excitement, anticipation, medication, weight loss, weight gain, illness, etc. etc. A lot of things can throw off your period.

Is it possible that you're pregnant? Of course it is, and I truly hope you are. But should you be going out to buy baby furniture? Not yet.

Wait another week. If you still haven't gotten your period then try a pregnancy test. It may be too early to test right now, but if you want, you can try one now. Just don't be too disappointed if it comes back negative.

As for the little girl. Well, you have a 50/50 chance of that. I hope you're not too disappointed if you have a boy.
