Too soon to tell?

Hey! Okay -- I have been through with my period for a little over 2 weeks now. I had sex while i was on it (yes i know "ew" but i was almost done) anyways... it was unprotected.... just used the pull out method. Lately my stomachs been feeling bloated a little and having some pains the lower part of my stomach on the side... been tired, a little dizzy & extremely irritable.
I don't think i am creating symptoms in my head b/c i mean i am not a new person to this situation... i just noticed my body's been acting different then normal. I feel like it's too soon to tell b/c i finished my cycle less than 3 weeks ago...
BUT i am not informed on everything.... just any opinions would be appreciated.
Thanks

I have said this to my little sister before-- everybody is different so no one can tell you for sure except a doctor-- however, a period is your body getting rid of the egg that has been waiting in there for about three weeks and your body needs a certin amount of time before it ovulates or "drops" another egg. I know that its only my opinion but if you even think you are pregnant you should go see a doctor. Better safe than sorry-- especially if you are having pain.Either way you will feel better once you know for sure.

chances are slim that you would be pregnant. However every woman is different. I would guess that this is more of an ovulation pain than a pregnancy pain. But your best bet is to see a dr. You may have something else causing your pain than either of these things so it is always best to get checked out.

I agree that it sounds as though it is ovulation pains. these usually occur mid cycle, and is usually localized to one side of the stomach(which ever side is ovulating at the time) however, its important to remember that the pull out method is never a form of birth control, as pre- contains sperm. Also, sperm can live inside the female body for up to one week. also no two women are exactly the same, esp when it comes to their monthly cycles. the average timing for ovulation is mid cycle (12-14 days after first of their last period) however, not everyone ovulates at the same time, and cycle lengths vary as well. some women ovulate immediately after their period, some right before it comes again, some in the middle, and rarely some even ovulate while bleeding. Most times women do not experience pregnancy symptoms until 4-6 weeks pregnant (at missed period or later) pretty rare to have symptoms before you miss your period. I personally have always felt the symptoms within days of my missed period(1 day after with first baby, and one day before with second baby) however, some women swear they know they are pregnant, the moment they concieve. SO, until your next excepted period comes or is missed, i'm afraid you'll have to play the waiting game. good luck

As the others have said, I would say your are just experiencing ovulation pain.

The bloated feeling and other symptoms are probably caused by your upcoming period.

I would say you have nothing to worry about
Wait and see if you period comes next month, if so, I wouldn't do anything. But if it does come and you are still experiencing all of these symptoms afterwards I would definitely see a doctor just to get checked out.
