So what should i do?

So what should i do? If i can ovulate but i cant get my period that been missing for 7 months. The doctors are telling me that im fine i just have abnormal period, so what should i do so i could have kids in the future. I may not want to be pregnant immediatly but i still need to know and what to do to have kids in the future. I try to eat right, im healthy enough, I dont drink, smoke or do anything illegal, just a student studying to become a medical assistant. So what should i do for in the future to have kids someday since i'm irregular??

Aha, I was irregular too, still am to tell the truth, I only get my period 2 times a year. But, guess what!!! I have 4 children.

Some of us women are just like that... this is what my doctor told me years ago, now medicine has come a long way since then, but this is what he said.

Just because you do not bleed does not mean you do not ovulate. Have you tried the over-the-counter ovulation kits? They will tell you when you are ovulating and when is the best time for you to become pregnant. You have a 24 hour window of opportunity during ovulation in which to become pregnant (for the most part, I could become more technical if you want).

How long have you been in school? Could stress be causing you to miss your periods? I am in nursing school, so I can imagine the stress you are going through.

dont panic. you are getting worried about something that hasnt even happened. sure, it might be easier to track and time if your period is regular. that doesnt mean you are infertile.

i say keep in good health and good nutrition and cross that bridge if you come to it. my wife became pregnant with our son while she was keeping a schedule (relatively "normal" whatever that is) of her pattern AND we were using birth control. a happy "oops" for us, but proof that ability to predict and work around the cycle doesnt mean you know, and doesnt mean you cannot get pregnant.

if it so happens that you cannot, as in you are deliberately trying for a year and it doesnt work out, then you talk to a doctor about what they can do to help you.

so please... R E L A X ! stress can cause an abnormal cycle as well. =)
