    Progesterone levels
I am 8 weeks and 4 days pregnant. Today my progesterone level was 35. I know that is above the normal range. However here is my concern. Last week my level was 43 and the week before 48. Can these declines suggest a miscarriage or poor development ? My doctor mentioned that levels start to rise at this point in pregnant because the placenta starts making it. However the nurse wasn't concerned with my number or decline because "numbers fluctuate" I'm concerned because I recently had a miscarriage and I am worried every minute that its happening again. I'd love some peace of mind. Thanks.
