I know this will sound odd to all of you but my husband is in prison and I desperately want to conceive. If he is given a condom to use, how long will the sperm last in the condom for me to try and inseminate myself. I know what you guys are thinking...crazy but all I want to know is how long the sperm will live. In case you guys are worried about the well being of my future child, don't be. I am financially very well off and my husband is in prison for a crime he did NOT commit; I love him. We do not want to wait to conceive. Thank you for your comments.
dont condoms have a spermacide that kills off the sperm?
also how can you get it to you dont they inspect everything thats goes to and from any inmate?
Dont get me wrong if it is possable and you can do it with out getting in trouble then go for it what right does any one have to say you shouldnt have a baby.
Good luck to you hun i hope it all works out
First condoms are counterban in all prisons except for those that allow sexual vistis. And to the surprise of many here, most US states and most federal prisons do not allow sexual visits with thier partners who visit.
Most visits in most prisons are done in public rooms, and sometimes in outside visting areas all public and they are suppose to be properly supervised. As one who has worked there some couples sneak into closets or behind a bush and try to have either sex or oral or hand enjoyment. If caught of course the imate is put into lock down and normaly the visitor will be banned from visit for an amount of time.
There are a few prisons that will allow sexual visits but they are rare in the US.
So you would have the issue of how to get him to get you the sperm, and how to hide it, and how to get it into you, within a very short time. Not going to get that turkey baster into the prison.
And as funny as it seems, just being not guilty is not even grounds for an appeal. You can prove after someone is convicted that someone else did the crime, but unless you can find an issue in the trial, you may still not just get out of prison.
Don't worry Dr. J I will let all of you know if it works! Thanks for your support. Jesus Helper, you are right desperation does not always make of something good but put yourself in my shoes. Young, wealthy, educated woman with a husband behind bars for a crime I know he did not commit. I have my whole life in front of me and I'm not sure if it will be with the man of my dreams or not. Having his child is something both he and I have dreamed of doing for a long time. Desperation and hope are all I have got at the moment.
