Well first how old are you? and second being late is kinda normal. our period very from cycle to cycle. I would just relax and take it day to day and see if your period is normal or different. discharge happens for any number of reasons. and it may just be because your late.

You could be having an early miscarriage.

I think its your period. I doubt it is pregnancy related.

I would say period, pregnant women dont get periods, and lighter going to darker is pretty normal for a period, as is being a bit late or early sometimes. If the period is unusual as it progresses, unusually painful or lasts far longer than normal, have a chat with your dr, but chances are it is just your period.

Pregnant women do in fact have periods on rare occasions. Every woman in my immediate family has had at least one irregular period during the early stages of pregnancy. I was not even made aware of my pregnancy until I was 9 weeks along and fainted in the showr. I had just finished a light period two weeks before.

Just thought I'd put in my two cents......

(Some women do experience early pregnancy bleeding, which is usually take as an irregular, or lighter then usual bleeding, and is thought to be a period. my aunts mom swore she had her period all through out her pregnancy)

Woman can have bleeding during pregnancy; but, bleeding is not a standard sign of pregnancy.
