Pregnant Help me

I had sex on October 4, 2006, and I was suppose to start my period today, but I only had a small amount of brown blood when I wiped. I have taken two pregnancy test and both have had a faint negative line. I need someone to tell me if I have any chance of being pregnant.

What is your age? Are you on any birth control? If so, what kind and for how long?

To be honest, please don't take this rudely, but if you have sex, you always have a chance of being pregnant.

Now, let's look at the answers to the questions and try and figure this out.

I am 34 years old, no birth control and I definately want to be pregnant. We have been trying for a few months, with nothing. I did an ovulation test and it was 2 dark lines for oct 4. I kept my legs in the air and did not use the bathroom for 35 mins.

Okay, usually if you take a HPT before your period date it will show up negative, not always, but usually.

You are 34, bear with me, I am thinking here, so you should be in a stable hormonal point in your life.

Are your periods regular? Like a 28 day cycle, or are they rather irregular?

So you went one month and 3 days from August to September. So, if I am calculating correctly you maybe should start October 22. But you know your periods better than I do. I just went on a one month and 3 day calculation.

It is possible that you are about to start your period.

Implantation bleeding has not been proven. Read this, however, it has happened, just not been proven in the medical sense. The link above will describe how what many think implantation bleeding is really occurs.

It could be that you are ever so slightly pregnant that the HCG hormone in your body has not yet built up enough to stop a period, only to slow it down and make it very light.

If nothing happens in the next week you should get a blood test done. In the meantime, treat yourself as if you are pregnant.

I hope all goes the way you want. Please keep us posted.

well i know that my period came on aug 16 and the reason it was late on sept 19 is that i was really stressed and nervous, hoping that i was pregnant then. but i did start a heavy flow of my period on the 19 of sept... but i am going to get a pregnancy test when i get off of work and try.. just praying very hard. thank you very much for your help.. you have been more helpful than anyone i have spoken to.

Vanity, Just so you know,

Stress will make it HARDER to become pregnant. I know, just go with the flow, is harder than it sounds. But it is the truth.

Do not have sex every night as this lowers the sperm count. Every other day is best.
