im scared i might be pregnant, i did have sexual intercourse
my period is two weeks late now, and im having severe cramping in my lower abdomen all i want to do is be in a ball and hold my stomach, my breast have been very tender and ive had to urinate more than usual and im very nauseas through out the day. im wondering how high the chances are im pregnant cause im really scared to take a pregnancy test
Your chances are high if you are not on birth control or did not use an effective form of birth control, and the "pull-out" method is no more effective than no method. With sexual intercourse, there is ALWAYS a chance for pregnancy. With your period already two weeks late and your being sick, you really do need to go take a pregnancy test... because even if you are not pregnant, there may be something else wrong delaying your cycle and making you sick.
You're welcome. It's not scary to take a home pregnancy test, that would be my first step suggestion. You can buy one at a grocery store for usually less than 15 bucks, then you just follow the directions and see what it says. Despite the results, if the period doesn't come soon, you can go to a local health clinic for low-cost care and find out what's up, and figure out what you need to do. Good luck!
Alright, and rightly so to be scared.
Please get a home pregnancy test as soon as you can. Tomorrow morning would be excellent, then you can take the questions out if you are or not. Then sweety we can work on the next step, ok? Either way yes or no, it is going to be ok. Do you live at home? Do you go to high school?
Rawro - You can also get home pregnancy tests in some dollar stores, they are a bit cheaper and work just as well as the pricier ones. Please go and find out so that you can seriously consider your options. Also, if you are, and you plan to have the baby, then you should start taking pregnancy vitamins etc.
Having said that. Obviously this is not something that you expected so please, from now on use protection. Condoms are far cheaper than a baby, trust me. If you decide to go to the clinic for a pregnancy test and it comes back negative, why not ask to be put on the Pill. You really do have a choice when to have a child, accidents can still happen, but if you're having unprotected sex then you are playing with fire.
thank you i will deffinetly do that
to be clear i did use protection and it broke everytime
and i cant go on the pill cause i dont want all those risks
