Well not really, sometimes periods do fluctuate,it can be because of hormonal imbalance or stress....if you are worried about getting pregnant, than take a home pregnancy test after a week to rule it out!If you do it now,you might or you might not get accurate results, ideally you should wait for 2 weeks and do do this test.A blood test by your doctor at this time can give you the accurate results,if in case you are pregnant.

Well, its very important to have regular periods to get pregnant ,
if cycles are fluctuating, than ovulation also varies, you need to consult your gynecologist who can give you medicines, these are hormones which are helpful in improving lenght and duration of ones cycle, and also makes them regular.
Thanks
