Pregnancy after miscarriage

Hi, I had a miscarriage on the 4 August after trying for a baby for 3 years. I was only 6 weeks so my Dr said I could try again as soon as I felt ready.
I feel like the only was to get over this is to get pregnant again (im not unstable or weak in any way!).
I have been using the ovulation predictor tests and last night got the smiley face! My husband and I have made sure that we have plenty of sex between last night, today and tomorrow.
What are the chances I will get pregnant? This may sound silly but I have heard that you are more fertile after a miscarriage.
Also when will my period be due?

Your period will likely show up a few weeks after a miscarriage. One main reason it is sometimes suggested to wait a couple of cycles is that it will help you determine better when you become pregnant again. Also individuals will be different in how they deal with a miscarriage, both physically and emotionally. Some women wait, some women choose not to.
