Hello Dr. I am Mona I did sex with my boyfriend on 6th of jan and had i-pill,my periods were due on 1 feb but still they are not coming please help .Please tell is there any chance of pregnancy and if so can I take abortion pill now, did preg-test on 6th feb, it came negative and still I cud get pregnant ?

Just so you are aware, I am not a doctor, nor, to my knowledge, is anyone else who posts on this message board.

There is a possibility of pregnancy, but a delayed period isn't enough information to give you an exact answer. Periods may come late for a variety of reasons. You should consider calling a doctor for a blood test/exam.

From the dates you provided, if you are pregnant, it would probably be too late for an "abortion pill", but I'm not sure exactly what type of pill you mean.

I suggest confirming pregnancy before you worry beyond that. You could be late due to illness, stress, etc.

No one on this website will be able to tell you if you are pregnant, but all of us can tell you that there is a possibility.

And yes, it is too late to use a pill to stop it from happening (if you are).

Please go see a doctor about this.
