Is it possible to get pregnant after miscarriage
I had a miscarriage 3 weeks ago having been 6 weeks pregnant and haven't yet had my period, I've been told it can take up to 6 weeks for your period to come, I was just wondering is there any possibility that you can get pregnant straight away after a miscarriage and if so when can you take a test to see if you are.
I didn't want to get pregnant so soon after a miscarraige but over the past week I have breast tenderness the same as I did when I found out I was pregnant the first time, could this be a possibiltiy that I am pregnant or is it just that I may be due on my period.

    Thanks
    Hayley

This is a tricky one, id say either see a doctors or wait another couple weeks if you still don't come on then take a test. I had a misscarriage two years ago but I bled non-stop for 9 months after that. Good luck I hope you get what your looking for. Oh and 1 more thing I know that it is very easy and happens very quickly falling pregnant not long after you have given birth so I'm not 100% sure if this is the same. Good luck though either way.

Every woman is different, and their bodies react to these things just as differently. It is very possible that you did get pregnant again right away. However, it could just be left over hormones from the previous pregnancy still running through your body that is giving you these symptoms. Your best bet is to talk to your doctor about it. Chances are, they will ask you to wait three more weeks, but they might want you to come in right away. Afraid the only way to find out is to ask. They know your medical history better then we could, and can give you clearer and medically sound advice. Good luck to you dear, and hope all turns out well for you.
