pink nipple discharge

This morning when I woke up I noticed that pink colored discharged had leaked out of my breast during the night. I've had the normal clear discharge for a couple of weeks now and I'm 36 weeks pregnant and just wondering if thats normal???

I know leaking colostrum is normal to leak. I'm not sure it is suppose to be pink looking though.

Is it pink on your breast or on tissue paper?

It was on my t-shirt the next morning but it hasn't happened again. I guess I will just mention it to my doctor this week.

I remember, when my wife was pregnant, Dr told us colostrum can sometimes be pink or stained with blood. If you want to be 100% sure though, ask your Dr.

J_9 agrees: Great answer!!! It can even have a blue or yellowish tint.

I would venture it's because of blood tinging... Probably from your body gearing up for birth and those vessels constricting. Just an opinion though. I would ask your dr. just in case.
