I'm glad you're smart. You'll need to be if you're going to be a 17 year old mom. Those are the facts, like them or not.

You may be a brilliant teen, but I've lived through my teen years, and I am a mom. I'm a college graduate, and I've been working since I was 13 years old. Do you really want to play the "who's smarter" game, because at 17, I can tell you, you won't win, no matter how brilliant you are.

Yes, now I'm talking down to you, because you're acting like a child. If you think I'm going to take lip from a child that's only 3 years older than my son, you can guess again.

I'll unsubscribe from this thread, wish you luck (and I'm being sincere), and I'll hope that you're as smart as you say you are, and realize that sex, even protected, can result in pregnancy, so don't assume it won't happen to you because you're using protection. No form of birth control is 100%, but I bet you already know that, right?
