Late ovulation?

Hi, I am new to your site and could really do with some advise. Have been trying for a baby for several months and I hoped that this month was the one.
My last period was 22 Feb, I expected to ovulate sometime between 5th- 11th March as my cycle is normally 27-30 days. Imagine my shock this morning (16th)when I discovered a lump of discharge ( excuse my expression). We have not made love in last four days.
Just wanted to share and get some tips from you guys whether that is a definite sign of me ovulating so late and consequently delaying my period by more than a week?

Cheers

hi if you are trying to have a baby make a preconception appointment with a obgyn doctor so she can start you on prenatal vitamins so you can increase your chances of having a baby, and so you can have a healthy baby. my husband and I are doing the same thing, and she can answer all your questions. : )

There is also something your husband can do to increase the production and strength of those 'little swimmers' - by keeping his scrotum cool - as cool as possible and avoid excessive heat as in saunas or too hot showers.

Good luck and keep us posted.

you can also try www.fertilityfriend.com it's a great site that will help you to get your timing right and know exactically when you ovulate. just make sure that you have fun while trying because if you make it all clinical and the such it might not happen. And try every other day instead of every day. it will give your hubbies swimmers time to recoup and you time to rest. Besides plan for romance not conception and it helps.
