Irregular cycle

Hi, my name is heather. I was wondering if you can tell me why I got my period on march 27 2011 and then got it again on april 15 2011. When it came on the 15th it started out as spotting then got a little heavier. Its gone now but I did have unpertected sex on the time I should have ovulated.

How long is your cycle normally? It could be an off cycle, it could be due to pregnancy, it could be a fluctuation in hormones.

See what happens when you would expect your next period. If it doesn't show, try a pregnancy test. If you are trying to become pregnant, be sure you are doing all that you can to insure a healthy pregnancy and baby......eating well, taking a prenatal vitamin, etc.

Its normally between 28-32 days. If I go by march 27th I should be getting my period around april 27th. But I don't know what to go by since it came the 15th.
