I'm nursing a 3 month old. How can I tell if I am pregnant or about to get first period?

Exhausted, cramps, peeing a lot, crying for no reason, head aches, back pain, dizzy, food aversion for past 2 weeks. Could my period be getting ready to come or am I pregnant again?
Hpt negative so far.

Any experiences?

Have you taken a test? If not, you should. That's the only sure way to know.

I have taken one yesterday it was negative but I think it is to early to know either way so I am waiting till Oct to take another one. I am just really anxious to know what's going on and would like to know what the symptoms are for the first period after because I really feel pregnant but find it hard to believe I could be.

Have you talked to your doctor? I've never been pregnant, but I know your cycle is unpredictable and unlike it used to be after giving birth. Nursing changes your body chemistry, too. It might be worth at least calling your OB to ask.

You might want to talk to your doctor about postpartum depression just in case that is what happened to me I was sure I was pregnant but it was ppd
