Hi, Marissa,
One "natural" way to lose weight is to count calories.
A normal person, eating/drinking 2000 calories a day (24 hours period) will neither lose nor gain weight.
Consider buying a paper-back Calorie book at a drug strore, food store, etc, and add up all the calories you eat/drink in 24 yours.
I did that once, many years ago, when I gained some weight. To my surprise, I found I was taking in 4,000 calories a day!
I do wish you the best of luck.

Myth agrees: I hate counting calories myself but for most it works..

I must ask if you are breastfeeding before I throw in my 2 cents so to speak because what I will suggest is all natural it can harm the baby if you are by taking away fats and protiens from breast milk.

As has been stated, if you are breastfeeding, then the only thing I would suggest is exercise, like using a stepper or even dancing in the privacy of your own home, it does not take a gym to loose weight, just regular movements that bring your heartrate up and perspiration.
But from the sound of it, you probably are not breastfeeding as those mothers who breastfeed loose weight faster because it makes the uterus retract to normal earlier than those who do not.
Also, instead of a full plate, try half - and even if you are still hungry, ignore this, it will help your stomach reach it's normal size again too.

But again, as I said before, exercise is one of the best ways, even on the couch, like leg lifting. Stair-stepping to music always helped me. Then in the evenings, I would swim at least 10 laps.

Please, also check with a nutritional advisor for a routine that will help you keep it once the ideal weight has been achieved.

Good luck and keep us posted.
