Have I miscarried?

1 Answer hi, ive been on the depo for 3 years now, and i had unprotected sex on saturday and its now thursday, today i had a brown lump on my underwear which looked just like a blood clot, but now i am bleed a bright red colour, is this signs of becoming pregnant and miscarrying? ive never experience this im my 3 year of being on the depo |

| If you want to know if you've miscarried you need to go to the doctor as soon as possible. I waited a 4 days after I thought I had and by then it was too late to tell. The only way my GYN could diagnose it was because of what I told her happened and the fact that I missed a period after. If you did in fact miscarry and youre still bleeding there's a possibility your body didn't cleanse everything out, which can cause an infection if it goes untreated. Most of the time cramps come with it. The alternative is you're just having your period. You could take a pregnancy test but there's a large possibility that it'd come back negative even if you were pregnant, since of how early in the pregnancy it would have been and the fact that your body has had time to lower the Hcg levels from the loss of the baby. | ||||
